ForgeHub Rwanda is a Kigali-based software studio and training hub, turning young African talent into world-class engineers and technology into jobs.

Our story

Founded in Kigali, in 2026

ForgeHub Rwanda was founded in 2026 in Kigali by Jimmy Shimwa and Fadhiri Ihirwe Ndegeya, two software engineers trained at African Leadership University.

Our curriculum asked us to choose one of Africa’s grand challenges as our opportunity. We chose technology, with job creation as the problem we set out to solve.
